David Vijsma
David Vijsma, active as an artist since 1985, primarily works as a painter and photographer. Aside from these well-known art forms, he has focused on creating his digital GlitchART since the beginning of 2014. However, he does not use popular editing programs like Photoshop for this.
Since 2014, he has been editing photos with Audacity audio editing software and one of the first forms of AI, such as Deep Dream Generator (AI software originally designed for facial recognition and long used by various intelligence agencies).
By editing a photo file in Audacity instead of a music file and then manipulating the knobs and sliders, he achieves the most unpredictable and unique effects.
The 54-year-old artist has been experimenting with this phenomenon for years and has thus, together with AI, or artificial intelligence, produced hundreds of paintings.
In addition to digital art, David Vijsma also enjoys creating paintings the old-fashioned way: easel / canvas / paint.
